  1. Home care allows elders or those needing care to remain in their own homes among familiar surroundings and cherished memories. They may carry on with their lives as normally as possible. They are able to see friends, have pets, and maintain normal routines with the assistance of a new "friend".

  2. The service for making a compatible match between the care provider and the client can range between $50.00 to $150.00 (and 20% of the first month's salary for a live-in provider). Factors influencing the cost depend on the needs of the client and the amount of time required to locate a care provider that meets those needs.

  3. I have personally met and spoken with all care providers registered with my service. They are of various backgrounds and experience.

  4. I check thoroughly into the backgrounds of all those care providers registered with my service. I check their references and perform DMV and finger-print checks as well. I refuse to send out anyone about whom I have any doubts regarding their excellent qualifications.

  5. Some care providers are bonded; some are licensed in-home aids; some are registered nurses and many of them run their career/profession as a business.

  6. Different credentials or experience are needed in different situations. I strive to keep a diversified list of individuals to fit all needs of my clients.

  7. Care providers can perform many different funtions as required by the needs of the client.
    • Some clients only need someone to come in a couple of times a week to assist with cooking, cleaning, shopping, or going to appointments.
    • Some clients may need assistance in bathing or going for a walk on a regular basis.
    • Some require medication to be administered (for instance diabetics may need someone to monitor their blood sugar and assist with the administering of insulin).
    • Some clients with poor eye sight might require a care provider to help organize their home so that they can find their belongings and navigate their home more easily.
    • Some may need more extensive medical or physical monitoring and attention.
    • Some may need 24 hour care.
Whatever the need, I have qualified care providers to perform any function that may be required.
